A national day on “the contribution of isotope techniques to guaranteeing water security in Algeria’ was held on Wednesday 11 December 2024 at the Algiers nuclear research center.
The event was attended by representatives of universities, organizations working in the hydraulics sector and COMENA’s nuclear research centers.
The opening ceremony was chaired by Mr Mohamed REMADNA, in charge of studies and synthesis, representing Mr Mohamed ARKAB, Minister of State, Minister of Energy, Mines and Renewable Energies, and Mr Abdelhamid MELLAH, Atomic Energy Commissioner.
The themes developed during the day focused in particular on studies of water resources and the contribution of isotope techniques to guaranteeing water security in Algeria.
