On Monday, June 8, 2026, the Atomic Energy Commissionner, Dr. Abdelhamid Mellah, paid a working visit to the Birine Nuclear Research Centre (Wilaya Ain Oussera) to review its activities and assess the progress of ongoing projects.
During the visit, the Commissioner instructed the centre’s officials to intensify their efforts in order to enhance the centre’s rightful position in the field of research and development. He also issued directives to accelerate the implementation of ongoing projects. A field visit was conducted as well to observe the progress of the work on site.
