On Thursday, October 16, 2025, the atomic energy commissioner Dr. Abdelhamid Mellah undergo a working visit to the nuclear research center of Tamenghasset, to enquire about activities and the progress of projects underway.
At 11.00 a.m,the minute of silence was observed in memory of the victimes of the october 17,1961 massacre by all the staffmembers of the center.
During this visit the commissioner instructed the center’s managers to redouble their efforts to finish the current projects. A site visit was made to the new headquarters of the nuclear research center of Tamenghasset,where the commissioner has given firm instructions to speed up the completion of the new building fence of the nuclear research center of Tamenghasset.
