On Sunday June 01, 2025, Dr. Abdelhamid Mellah, Commissioner of atomic energy, opened the national course on the use of the energy demand analysis model (MAED) designed by the international atomic energy agency (IAEA).
The course is being organized by the algerian institute of training in nuclear engineering (IAGN) attached to the atomic energy commission (COMENA), under the patronage of the ministry of energy, mines and renewable energies, in collaboration with the electricity and gas regulatory commission (CREG), from June 01 to 05, 2025, for professionals in the energy sector, as part of the drive to enhance know-how and skills in the field of energy demand analysis.
