In the healthcare sector, cooperation focuses on supporting the 2015-2019 national anti-cancer plan.

The aim is to help strengthen national capacities in the integrated fight against cancer, particularly in the fields of early diagnosis, widening access to quality therapy and care for as many patients as possible.

In nuclear medicine, cooperation covers the development of diagnostic and preventive capabilities (in vitro and in vivo medicine, radiopharmacy and radiobiology); the promotion of therapeutic aspects; and continued support for the introduction of new techniques to benefit oncology, neurology and cardiology.
