With regard to cooperation with the industrial sector, COMENA is represented on the “CTN 60 Energies” technical committee of the Algerian Standards Institute (IANOR), responsible for standardization in the fields of peaceful applications of nuclear energy and the protection of people against all sources of ionizing radiation, as well as the use of solar energy for air and water heating, refrigeration, industrial process heating and air conditioning.

COMENA contributes to the pre-selection, review and adoption of international standards into national standards.
