In this Area, through its Four (04) Nuclear Research Centers, COMENA perform research activities on:

• the production of radioisotopes and radiopharmaceuticals with laboratory-scale on for diagnosis and therapy,
• the development of nuclear analysis techniques,
• the development and application of biomarkers in radiobiology,
• the development of radiotherapy treatment techniques,
• the application of nuclear technology in socio-economic sectors, and radiation-matter interactions.
