On Sunday April 27, 2025, the Atomic energy commission (COMENA) and the Algerian academy for science and technology (AAST) jointly organized a study day on synchrotron radiation at the nuclear research center of Algiers.
Mr. Djillali KHELFI, Director of nuclear programs at COMENA, welcomed the event in his quality as representative of the Atomic energy commissioner.
The aim of the day was to shed light on this cutting-edge technique, which is used in all scientific and technical fields, including biology, materials science, medicine (radiotherapy), and fundamental physics and chemistry.
